Italy banned another rip off from China - This time it's a Fiat Panda!

Fiat Panda, a nifty little car that showcase what Fiat does best, small, economical, cheap yet clever and practical; and has been Europe's most popular small car since 2004.

We believe conception of such wonderful creations would definitely take some time to design, test and produce. Well we all know imitation is the best form of flattery, and Great Wall Motors of China decides to compliment the Panda this time around, however wasn't much appreciated by the Italians.

A Turin court had ruled on the exercise of banning the sale of the GW Peri in Italy following a suit by Fiat not only in Italy, but through international courts to stop the production of the GW Peri in China as well. (Which we think the latter would be practically impossible)

Great Wall would have to pay a fine of 15,000 Euro per Peri sold in Europe, further violations would amount to 50,000 Euro per car sold.

The decision came after ruling that the car was essentially a Fiat Panda other than the front end having a "F1 manner front grill" (As captioned by GW, in which we have no idea what they're implying)

They ought to be wised enough to at least create a different front end, but then they decided that average Chinese would somehow do some off roading in a while and copied the Fiat Panda 4x4 with another front end.
