GTR 35 V-Spec - Details Revealed !

r

Road & Track Magazine had revealed certain details on the more powerful, faster, lighter version of the already extremely fast GTR that defies physics and common sense.

In true Japanese Hero-Underdog style, the GTR had already gave a big slap on the faces of Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini, being faster around the Nurburgring than a 911 Turbo that has more horsepower, and lesser weight, the GTR further on goes around Top Gear's Test Track faster than the Porsche Carrera GT, and only 0.7 seconds slower than the Ferrari Enzo. For a 50,000 pound car, it's blistering performance not only rivals that of cars costing 300,000, but of cars with more horsepower and less weight - a truely staggering performance.

And now Nissan is again readying the Nissan GTR V-Spec, a lighter, more nimble, more powerful GTR that is said to be able to kill the Porsche 911 GT2, Porsche's fastest road and track killing machine.

All we know of previously on the GTR V-Spec is there's an additional bumper spoiler at the front, and the rear wings are larger, nonetheless those are spy pics and Nissan might be hiding the real V-Spec's vital visual clues under the GTR mule. Well we have some of the details now, there will only be 2 seats (suggesting there might be a roll cage) to save weight, it will be 100kg lighter (GTR weighs 1740kg) which is of no significance amongts supercars but means alot on how many more thoroughbreds it'll be able to slaughter, and the official power output will be 520hp (current GTR is 480hp, thou being tested to be closer to 550hp) hence we could belive the dynorun on the V-Spec would produce around 580hp - 600hp and - BEHOLD.

It'll be able to lap the Nurburgring faster than 7 minutes 25 seconds - remember, the 911 Turbo which still costs more than the V-Spec (rumored to be twice of GTR's sticker), and lighter than the V-Spec could only do it around 7 minutes 35 seconds.

The world has really gone crazy, and we can't wait to join Nissan's Asylum.
