Gordon Murray's Type 25 City Concept Car

Murray claimed big earlier on, to develop the most radical car ever, able to cope with daily needs, impossibly fuel efficient, impossibly cheap to manufacture, yet fun to drive, cheap to produced.

You might think this guy's a lunatic, but he is the same person who design the Mclaren F1 Hypercar, the first of it's kind, a supercar that's faster than the Enzo, able to seat 3 persons comfortably, has luggage space comparable to a Ford Fiesta, and with a driving position in the middle, making it the first no frills Right Hand Drive or Left Hand Drive car.

Gordon Murray is also the person who designed radical F1 cars that are so fast and efficient that Gordon Murray decides to take it off before being ordered so - He altered the air intake to the floor plan of the car, using a huge fan to 'suck' air into the engine for combustion yet his real motives - is to create a near vacuum undercarriage that makes the car stick on to the tarmac by physics alone and hence are able to go into corner at speeds others could only dream of.

The Type 25, as being this South African's number 25th ground up design project - As shown by the picture and claimed by Gordon Murray, it got Wheels Weekly worried, very worried as it resembles the Smart ForTwo alot, and the Smart, is not something profitable for Mercedes that has been loosing money since day one.

Well at least Gordon's already thought of it - He will only license it to other manufacturers but not producing it himself.

Looking at SMART.
