Found it! New Renault Megane looks similar to .... a 10 year old car?
Renault must be very happy over the espionage incident for having so much coverage on this incident. First glance it had a very similar front profile to the Renault Laguna Coupe, which suggests a complete revamp of Renault's family look, second glance, the 2011 Renault Megane looked exactly the same as a 2001 Toyota Will VS.
Toyota Will VS, introduced in 2001 as an experimental study on some of their in house designs, had a very limited production number, resulting being very popular as a cult car. Powered by either Corolla's VVT-i engine producing 140hp, or Celica's VVTL-i engine producing 180hp, both 1.8 ltr engines; available in automatic, or a 4-speed tiptronic and a 6 speed manual.
It's front wheel driven, with a torsion beam at the rear. Rumored to have only 4000 produced, thou we have no way in confirming this claim.
It's astonishing that a car developed almost 10 years back had such modern designs, thou Toyota had announced there will be no successor available in the mean time, fans had reckoned it's modern designs will last it for another decade or so. (And we find the interior much more appealing to Renault's 2011 Megane)
