Further probes into suppliers had revealed that Fiat is talking to BMW on future plans of platform sharing where the underpinnings of the third generation Mini would be also utilized by Punto.
For us at Wheels Weekly, any platform sharing is good news, as it would only mean one thing - Economies of scale, bringing cost savings right back to consumer's pockets.
