Another 1000 white collars to loose their jobs in Chrysler, America's 3rd largest auto manufacturer

Chrysler announced another 1000 job cuts, following a decline of 22% in sales; with which Chrysler blames the declining consumption in the US automotive industry (The world's largest market).

We at Wheels Weekly however decline to agree to their claims of the industry, whereby US is still the undisputed largest automotive market in the world, also one of the most competitive.

Competitive is the word here, and lets have a look at Chrysler's measly nine model lineup to 'protect their workforce'. We could only find one model out of the nine that seems to satisfy visually, the other 8? Well one glance and we believe consumers are heading elsewhere.

Take a glance at the few models offered by Chrysler (We wouldn't wanna waste your bandwidth for the Crossfire hardtop, and PT cruiser hardtop since they've decided to include the Cabrio and charge more for it)

With such a lineup, it's destined there will be further job cuts, perhaps the next round, include the CEO and the Director of Automotive Design in Chrysler as well. Americans deserved better cars.

Chrysler 300C - The only model in the lineup that seems fairly 'OK'

Chrysler Sebring (Down right UGLY)

Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible (There's a reason why we place it last, and the guy sitting there further convinced us the intended target market)
