KIA doesn't sound or looked funny anymore

According Lee Hyun-soon, president of Hyundai-Kia Motors' R&D division. Kia's first ever coupe model will be based on the replacement for the Spectra, teaser shots of which have already appeared throughout the web. The Koup Concept, shown above suggests that Peter Schreyer, who had worked for Audi for the last 25 years, which leaves a legacy for creating the original Audi TT, revolutionizing car design language by integrating bumpers with bonnets in a seamless flow, and also the man who penned the Volkswagen Concept-R had drastically changed KIA's designs and the Koup Concept is a solid telltale of this man's mission statement in KIA, and it also resembles KIA's perseverance in creating and designing world class beaters.

The Spectra sedan, which used to be a joke for many with squinting headlamps and weird proportions had once and for all being recreated under this man. The teaser shots released by KIA earlier on is a testament of what KIA's capable of.

We just hoped KIA would've been named something else, Dao Re or Kim Dae Jyung or whatever.

Nonetheless, Wheels Weekly will bring you the most updated news first hand, should any news surface. Stay tuned.
